We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Office Administrator to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of excellence.
Position Overview: The Legal Office Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our estate planning and elder law practice. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, a commitment to exceptional customer service, and a dedication to producing quality work products. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal office administration and a passion for assisting clients in the sensitive areas of estate planning and elder law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Management: Oversee the daily operations of the legal office, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Client Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Case Management: Assist attorneys with case management, including opening and closing files, organizing and maintaining client documents, and ensuring timely follow-up on case progress.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Manage attorney calendars, schedule client appointments, and coordinate meetings and events.
- Document Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize legal documents related to estate planning and elder law, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Billing and Invoicing: Handle billing and invoicing for clients, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Compliance and Record Keeping: Maintain client confidentiality and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Team Support: Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including managing correspondence, filing, and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal office administration, preferably in estate planning and elder law.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Requirements
This is an in-office full-time position Monday-Friday during normal business hours.

Benefits
Hourly pay range is $20-25 based on experience and qualifications.
