Grinding Machine Operator

Express Employment is currently seeking a skilled Grinding Machine Operator. As a Grinding Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining grinding machines to produce high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities

• Set up grinding machines based on specifications and work orders
• Operate grinding machines to grind and polish surfaces of materials
• Adjust machine settings to achieve desired finish and dimensions
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
• Inspect finished products for defects and quality issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines
• Utilize precision measuring equipment to ensure accuracy

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating grinding machines
• Knowledge of grinding machine operations and maintenance
• Ability to interpret work orders and specifications
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
