Float Pool PCU Telemetry Registered Nurse

Schedule: (3) 12 hours shifts 7p-730a; No Block Scheduling

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans in coordination with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Respond to changes in patient conditions, providing timely interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in electronic medical records.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry or PCU settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation.
• Must have EPIC experience within the last 12 months.
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• BLS, ACLS and NIH certifications required.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Must be willing to float to various departments as needed.
