Electrical Engineer

SUMMARY

AT3 Staffing is excited to engage with a 100+ year old manufacturer in search of a Product Engineer to join their team in Miamisburg, OH. This position will be responsible for the design, development, and construction support of new variable transformer products, special products, product modifications, and changes to standard products. This will include drawing activities (layout and detail) and component specification.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Innovative Design & Layout: Lead the design and layout of new variable transformer products, as well as modifications to existing products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of innovation and functionality.
• Component Specification: Identify and specify the best component parts to bring your designs to life.
• System Schematics & Wiring Diagrams: Develop detailed system schematics and wiring diagrams that adhere to industry standards, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Detailed Drawings: Create comprehensive drawings, including specification control, assembly details, and proposal drawings for our sales team, making sure every detail is perfect.
• BOM Development: Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for sales orders and quotations, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
• Cost Analysis: Perform thorough cost analyses to keep our products competitive without compromising on quality.
• Compliance Verification: Ensure all designs and production processes comply with various Agency approvals, maintaining our commitment to safety and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

· BSEE with 3 years of experience in electrical design.

· Experience with transformers, or equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus. Specific experience with three-phase power is desirable.
