Are you a dedicated legal professional with a passion for bankruptcy law? We are seeking a skilled Bankruptcy Attorney to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and filing bankruptcy claims, addressing claim objections, collaborating with outside counsel on contract and sales motions, and handling plan confirmations and avoidance actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file claims in bankruptcy cases.
- Respond to claim objections with precision and legal expertise.
- Work closely with outside counsel on contract and sales motions.
- Manage plan confirmation and avoidance actions efficiently.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate Degree.
- Active admission to a state bar.
- At least 2 years of full-time legal experience, specializing in creditors’ rights and bankruptcy.
- Strong litigation and transactional skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and internet/intranet usage.
