Air Filtration Sales Specialist with Allied Supply in Toledo, Ohio
We are looking for an Air Filtration Sales Specialist to join our team!
As a Filtration & IAQ Sales Specialist on our team, you will be responsible for maintaining productive relationships within the assigned territory with engineers, architects, mechanical contractors, hospitals, universities, school districts, and many other end user customers. This is an outside technical sales position based in Toledo, OH also servicing Mansfield Ohio and as far south as Findlay, OH. In addition to maintaining existing customers, developing relationships with and converting new air filtration opportunities is a strong focus. You will represent the highest quality air filtration line, Camfil, through exclusive distribution with Allied Supply. Training will be provided through Allied’s Commercial Air Filtration Manager and our Camfil regional sales manager. Camfil offers top notch sales tools that set their products and Allied Supply apart from the competition.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Characteristics
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, both written and oral, as well as strong customer service, presentation and computer skills. They will need to be comfortable with high level managers and service technicians alike, and able to discuss their business needs. Understanding Preventive Maintenance is key to this position.
Key Skills (not all required, but preferred)
· Bachelor of Science, preferably in Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Technology
· Several years of experience in HVACR Industry with HVAC system knowledge
· Strong customer service, presentation and computer skills
· Strong critical-thinking skills and time-management
· Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, disciplined
· May require occasional overnight travel
· A passion for indoor air quality and the sales process
Responsibilities
· Call on new air filtration accounts, as well as building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and on-going account management.
· Provide technical product support, product updates, and training events to new and existing customers along with Allied Supply associates in a timely manner.
· Develop, execute, and deliver sales plans and presentations to meet performance requirements, as well as generate product interest and awareness.
· Work with the local Allied Supply branches within your territory to target accounts and support the inside sales function. This is very much a team environment.
· Work with the Commercial Filtration Manager to onboard, learn and master the many sales tools you will have at your disposal to bring the value-add Allied Supply customers have come to expect from our long history.
