Shift: 2:30pm-10:30pm
As a member of a highly visible core functional unit, the employee will maintain records of materials in inventory and issues them as required to meet work order requirements; Monitors Wax Batch Plan and initiates action to replenish stock accordingly; Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities; Assures accuracy of production kit issuance to avoid mislabeling of finished goods and use of incorrect material such as labels, wicks and or sustainers.
Essential Job Functions
• Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; Cycle count specific number of items on a daily basis. • Cross checks inventory issuance to work orders by other stock clerk(s). Records inventory issuance to work orders, maintains inventory database, performs physical count of inventory and bin transfers, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
• Receives, unpacks, and stocks required materials; re-stocks items as necessary; labels stock shelves. Verifies accuracy of domestic/international locations in label area on a daily basis.
• Assist in return to stock materials received from production floor, validating part numbers, quantities, and stocking to Bins. Will require on occasion to look up to see if item exists in a bin location already, if so locate to that shelf and update quantity. If not establish bin location with quantity in the inventory database system.
• As required, do floor sweeps for excess materials and return to label area as well as doing above activities for accurate location and on hand inventory.
• Accountable for keeping work space neat and clean at all times. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephone/walky-talkies, and assists production and quality assurance during problem investigations.
• Knowledge of supplies, material handling equipment and inventory control and or manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to reconcile stock counts to computer database.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork or reports.
• Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver materials.
• Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
• Initiates action to replenish stock;
• Prepares production kits and monitors accuracy and completeness, resolves inconsistencies;
• Performs routine clerical duties in support of functional unit.
Requirements

• Computer program(s) and database(s) skills.
Range of Experience Required
• 1 year of experience that is directly related to the specified duties and responsibilities. Education Level Required (minimum degree)
• GED or High school Diploma

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or touch; reach, talk, hear and smell. The employee may be required to, kneel, crouch, sit, climb or balance. The employee may lift and/or move up to more than 50 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and aromas. The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
