Wick Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining the various wick machines. Must monitor product quality and report any deficiencies to Supervision

Shift: 6:30am-2:30pm

Pay: $19/hour

Job Functions:

  • Pull raw wick for each work order, make proper labels and acquire appropriate sign-offs.
  • Set up machine with correct dyes, speed, fans and temperature.
  • Set up wickers and fill with proper wax, wick wax or high melt.
  • Mount spools and thread wickers.
  • Regularly perform preventative maintenance on all wickers.
  • Responsible for daily updates and continuous tracking of individual and cumulative down time of machines.
  • Must cycle count all inventory associated with wicking.
  • Requires the regular use of Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Maintain Alene standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 12 months related experience and/or training
