1st Shift Experienced Press Operator

Express Employment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced 1st Shift Press Operator. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press machines to produce various products.

Responsibilities

• 6 months of experience with setting up press machines based on specifications and work orders
• 4 years of experience with automatic progressive dies
• Operate press machines to produce parts or products
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet the required quality standards
• Utilize Micrometers, Calipers, and other precision measuring devices
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform routine maintenance on press machines
• Follow safety protocols and regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a press operator or in a similar role
• Knowledge of press machine operations and maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
