Paint Shop Worker

POSITION SUMMARY The role of Paint Shop Worker involves preparing coaches and/or coach parts before painting, as well as performing cleanup and touch-up tasks on finished coaches or parts, including some decaling.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Prepare coaches and/ or small parts for painting. • Perform masking and detailing for coach and/or small parts. • Perform body repair work, sanding, buffing and decaling as required. • Clean up and touch up of finished painted coaches and/or parts.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: • High School Diploma or GED preferred. • Previous experience in a paint shop or similar environment preferred • Demonstrated ability to focus on details to ensure quality is maintained at all times • Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written • Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems individually or as a team member and implement effective solutions. • Proven ability to work effectively in a high volume and multiple demand environment considered an asset.
