Marketing Specialist

Baranko Companies is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team in Dickinson, ND. As a Marketing Specialist at Baranko Companies, you will contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote our earthwork, trucking, oilfield, power plant, environmental, and heavy highway services externally and internally. With over 50 years of experience, Baranko Companies has established a strong reputation for high-quality workmanship and has built lasting relationships with private entities and local and state governments throughout the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, email marketing, and print materials.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
• Track and analyze marketing campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative marketing initiatives.
• Assist with company website content and online presence.
• Coordinate company events, meetings, and sponsorships.
• Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather information and develop messaging for internal announcements, presentations, and events.
• Design and produce engaging materials such as flyers, posters, and digital graphics to support campaigns and events.
• Provide communication support and guidance to team members and other departments as needed.
• Stay informed about best practices and trends in communication
• Assist with obtaining photo, video, and interviews for use in promotional material
• Review creative content to ensure imagery, messaging and branding are accurate
• Assist with other related tasks as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, Digital Media or a related field or a minimum 3 years of experience in marketing or communications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in digital marketing platforms, social media platforms, content creation and tools
• Ability to think creatively and strategically
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience with content management systems preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies
