Lead Accountant or Bookkeeper - North Dakota Residents

We are looking for a Lead Accountant for Law Firm Velocity.

Our clients are focused on growth and need accurate financial and management reports to guide their firms. Our firms want your feedback on their financial performance and trends.

Most of our clients use billing systems that integrate with QuickBooks Online.

Due to our growth, we need an additional team member.

Full-Time Opportunity

We work virtually without a traditional office. The firm has been fully virtual since its opening in 2009.

Work schedules are flexible. A full-time employee works 40 hours per week. At least 30 hours per week are performed during regular business hours. The remaining hours can be worked evenings, weekends, or during regular business hours.

Responsibilities

• Record transactions into accounting systems.
• Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts and review Income Statement items for accuracy and trends
• Manage multiple billing, management, and reporting systems.
• As needed, other responsibilities that support firm CFOs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other four-year degree and 24 hours of accounting.
• Available during business hours Monday to Friday.
• Completed accounting 101 and 102 courses.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Interest in learning multiple financial accounting software tools.
