Commercial Tire Technician

At OK Tire Store & Service, we are a leading provider of tire sales and service in the commercial sector. We specialize in repairing and replacing commercial, agricultural, and industrial tires.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently repairing and replacing commercial tires.

Responsibilities:

• Properly mount and dismount commercial tires
• Lift and lower commercial vehicles using safe operating procedures
• Repair and replace all tires and tubes
• Clean and sweep bays daily and keep work benches organized
• Clean and maintain equipment, including rolling up air hoses and hanging up air guns when not in use
• Work in a professional manner around customers and co-workers
• Perform other tasks and functions as requested by supervisor
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing all Personal Protective Equipment as required

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs on a frequent basis, and up to 100 lbs on an occasional basis
• Frequent kneeling, bending, climbing, standing, and crouching required
• Indoor and outdoor work required year-round, with exposure to various irritants and solvents
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and work orders
• Legally eligible to drive a vehicle and able to pass company MVR check
• Flexible schedule with availability for rotating Saturdays and ability to stay late during peak season

Pay: $20/hr +

Requirements

Ability to lift/carry 75lbs on a frequent basis. Frequent kneeling, bending, climbing, standing, crouching required. Ability to read and interpret documents. Legally eligible to drive a vehicle. Flexible schedule.
