Ultrasound Tech - Day Shift

• Performs sonography procedures for the diagnosis of medical conditions.  
• Assists radiologist with biopsy and drainage procedures.  Procedures will be performed according to departmental protocols, policies and procedures and established standards of practice.
• Performs high level disinfection of probes following departmental protocols.  
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor reflective of medical ethics.  
• Assesses, monitors, and provides appropriate patient care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program and ARDMS registry eligible.
• (Registry must be completed within 9 months of hire) OR ARRT registry with ultrasound credential.
• American Heart Association BLS required within 30 days of hire.
