About the Role
As a Strategic Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving both financial and digital transformation of Prenetics’ US operations. This position will focus on supporting our US consumer health business and operations while aligning with the company’s broader global strategy and local execution. You will be responsible for forecasting, planning, and providing data-driven insights to guide business decisions at the executive level, especially for Strategy and Growth. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in business analysis, consulting, or investment banking, with the ability to drive organizational change, influence decision-making, and foster a forward-thinking financial culture. You will report into the Group Head of Corporate Finance and Group CFO. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial forecasting, planning, and business strategy processes, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Provide actionable insights and analysis to support decision-making, focusing on growth opportunities and strategic direction.
• Support operational improvements and financial transformation initiatives, including establishing and tracking key financial metrics and KPIs to ensure that the business is meeting strategic targets and operational goals.
• Act as a change agent, helping the organization adopt new financial processes while ensuring alignment between local operational needs and broader global strategies
• Drive cultural shifts within the finance department to embrace technology, forward-thinking strategies, and business-oriented financial analysis.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the finance strategy aligns with overall business objectives.
• Support the Group’s capital market activities in the US.
• Serve as a key liaison between the US team and Hong Kong team, ensuring communication and strategic initiatives are aligned globally.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a financial analyst, consultant, or banker, with a strong focus on business analysis and strategic financial planning.
• Prior entrepreneurial experience at a startup, VC firm, or high-growth company is highly desirable, as it demonstrates the ability to thrive in dynamic environments, drive growth initiatives, and implement innovative financial and operational strategies.
• Ability to drive business changes, with a track record of implementing new processes and technologie, moving away from backward-looking approaches to forward-thinking financial management.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic insights, not just report the numbers.
• Familiarity with financial forecasting tools and systems beyond Excel, with a preference for candidates who have driven technology-driven financial change.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and impactful way.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
