Full Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee and manage assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for the coordination of all project activities, from procurement to project completion, while maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

  • Manage project progress, ensuring proper staffing and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Attend project meetings, conduct site inspections, and ensure the project is on schedule.
  • Review and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with estimates.

Vendor & Supplier Management:

  • Negotiate material prices with vendors and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers to ensure the smooth execution of the project.

Project Documentation & Compliance:

  • Oversee the documentation of change orders, contracts, permits, and insurance certificates.
  • Ensure all necessary inspections and licenses are obtained and scheduled.
  • Conduct pre- and post-project meetings with team members and provide training, direction, and motivation.

Client Relations:

  • Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Act as the liaison between the company, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Handle client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma required; four-year college degree preferred. Equivalent experience is acceptable.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a Project Management role within commercial plumbing.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, technical journals, and legal documents.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in office software and construction project management tools.
