We’re searching for an exceptional Senior Full Stack Developer to join Fastbreak’s cutting-edge software engineering team. What You’ll Do
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable web applications using React, Next.js, and Express.
- Lead technical architecture decisions and enforce best practices for code quality and testing.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.
- Drive innovation and technical excellence within the engineering team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in React.js and Next.js frameworks.
- Extensive experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Proven track record of working with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture and state management.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript and strong typing practices.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with serverless architecture.
- Experience with performance optimization and web vitals.
- History of contributing to open-source projects.
- AWS certifications.
Location
- We're based in Charlotte, NC and looking for a team member to work in our offices 5 days a week.
