EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
CNI is presently seeking to fill numerous full-time and part-time Armed Security Officer positions situated at the Security Operations Training Facility compound on Ft. Liberty (formerly Ft. Bragg). The compound is located at the end of Beckwith Road (formerly McKellars Road) at Lamont Road and between Longstreet Road and Manchester Road.
The starting compensation is $23.36 per hour, and an additional weekly health and welfare pay of $4.41 up to 40 hours totaling $27.77 hourly rate up to 40 hours and $35.04 at the overtime rate.
Health and welfare pay will be used to pay benefit expenses for employees who opt into any CNI offered benefits. The remainder of the health and welfare pay will mandatorily and automatically be added to the employees 401A. Employees who already have medical coverage and successfully waive all CNI available benefits will receive the all of their health and welfare payment in their paycheck.

EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTED 401K
CNI contributes 75 cents for every hour worked, up to 40 hours per week, for each employee, resulting in a yearly total of $1,560 per employee.
NIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL PAY
Personnel who work or cover vacant 3rd shift hours (2300-0700) will receive an additional $1.00 per hour for night shift differential pay.
VACATION PAY
Full-time employees receive paid vacations based on completed years of service. Full-time employees who complete:
· One year of service will earn 80 hours of vacation
· Five years of service will earn 120 hours of vacation
· Ten years of service will earn 160 hours of vacation
· Sixteen years of service will earn 200 hours of vacation
· Twenty years of service will earn 240 hours of vacation
Part-time employees accrue vacation on a prorated basis based on hours worked.
SICK PAY
All CNI employees shall accrue at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked up to 56 hours per anniversary year.
BEREAVEMENT PAY
Full-time non-probationary employees who lose a close relative may take paid bereavement leave to attend to necessary obligations and commitments. Employees will receive three days paid leave for in state and four days paid leave for out of state.
JURY DUTY PAY
Full-time non-probationary employees will be paid their regularly scheduled hours for up to 10 days per calendar year.
ANNUAL PHYSICAL
· CNI pays the total medical expense of every employees annual physical.
· CNI pays the employee up to four hours of wages for time spent completing their annual physical

JOB DUTIES
Job duties include but are not limited to sentry duty, access control (including vehicle inspections and badging procedures), roving patrols, escorting guests and contractors, control room (similar to dispatch) operations, staff duty, emergency and crisis response, physical security, anti-terrorism force protection, and the handling and protection of classified information.
REQUIREMENTS/HIRING PROCESS
All candidates/employees must at least possess an Interim-Secret Security Clearance that we can upgrade to a Top Secret clearance within one year of employment. As per the terms of the contract, any employee unable to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance must be released from duty. CNI management will require your full SSN to verify your clearance in JPAS.
The hiring process is broken down three phases in which applicants must meet the following minimum criteria
PHASE I: CANDIDATE SELECTION
- Verification candidate is 21 years or older
- Active driver license verification
- Security clearance verification
- Initial interview with Guard Force Captain/Project Manager
- On-site MMPI test (psychological multiple choice test)
- On-site psychological interview conducted by our client
- Motor Vehicle Record Check
- County, State, Federal Criminal Background Check
- Credit Check
- Availability for shift work
PHASE II: MEDICAL EVALUATION
- Fasting Blood Work - Cholesterol and Glucose
- Urinalysis - Drug Screening
- Audiogram (hearing aids permitted)
- Vision Test - Normal, Depth Perception, and Color Blindness
- EKG with Interpretation
- Basic Physical Examination with Occupational Health Doctor
PHASE III: BASIC SECURITY OFFICER TRAINING COURSE
- Physical Agility Test (PAT) (for record)
- Minimum 21 Push-ups in 2:00 minutes
- Run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes or less
- Pistol Qualification
- AR15 and M590 Familiarization
- OC Spray Qualification
- CPR/First Aid with AED
- Completion of all classroom based training
- Compliance with all necessary paperwork and policies
Note: The basic security officer training course is 40 hours in length and paid at the training rate of $17.20
Continued employment with CNI is contingent upon maintaining all certifications, qualifications, and licenses for this position as well as compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and performance standards to include, but not limited to:
