Full Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Scrum Master to join a team dedicated to adding business value to some of the strongest brands within the automotive and transportation industry.
As a Scrum Master, you will enable fantastic product teams. You will have a tight dialogue with the respective Product Owners and Project Managers. You will have responsibility for PI (Program Increment Planning), backlog refinement, sprint planning, orchestration of Scrum ceremonies for two separate product teams in alignment to industry standards and the VGCS WoW.
You will be working in a social environment which requires you to be communicative and ability to build and maintain strong relationships. You need to support the development team, while also balancing the decisions made by the Project Managers, Product Owners, and Stakeholders. You will be part of the work to continuously improve the team’s ways of working.
In addition, we are on a Digital Transformation journey moving from a traditional project management model to a Scaled Agile Framework for the Enterprise (SAFe). In the SAFe model the Scrum Master has a significant role in facilitating the management of the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of product priorities while at the same time coaching the team to foster an environment that supports self-organizing teams and relentless improvement in the ways of Agile delivery.
Main responsibilities:
• Preparation and Facilitation in Program Increment (PI) planning
• Maintaining the team backlog
• Support Iteration Execution
• Improve Flow
• Driving team to story completion to agreed Definition of Done (DoD)
• Improve Agile Release Train (ART) Performance
• Escalate blockers that impede progress
Requirements
Required Competencies and Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Ability to manage multiple Scrum Teams
• Experience in Confluence and Jira
• Strong planning skills
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Expected to act according to/live the company’s values
• Telematics Experience a plus
Education Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
