Receiver - 1st Shift

Our Home is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our team on the first shift. As a Receiver, you will be responsible for inspecting and receiving incoming shipments, verifying their contents against purchase orders, and ensuring their proper storage in our warehouse facility.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Match received items to purchase orders, ensuring that all goods have been accounted for
• Unpack and organize items in the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and easy accessibility
• Ensure received items are labeled and stored correctly, following the company's inventory management procedures
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate the movement and organization of received items
• Coordinate with suppliers and shipping carriers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments
• Maintain accurate documentation of received items and update inventory records in the system
• Assist with regular inventory counts and audits
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

• Prior experience in a receiving or warehouse role preferred
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to accurately match items to purchase orders and verify their condition
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
• Knowledge of forklift operation and certification is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
