About the Job

In this role you will collaborate with…

Your role is vital to fostering continuous engagement with our Operations, Sales and Product Management groups. You will also benefit from cross-training opportunities where you’ll have exposure to supplier and customer engagement.

You will be a key contributor supporting initiatives that impact each of our medical and industrial customers. Your contribution is vital in establishing Teguar as more than a computer supplier, but also as a partner who will directly impact their goal of keeping the community healthy as well as keeping up with the pace of innovation in the medical field, to ultimately save lives around the globe.

Your main responsibility…

You will act as the quality control liaison that interfaces with key processes (internal and external) that are required to perform quality control tests and inspections at critical gates. This includes coordinating and reviewing required documentation flows, and actively participating in quality improvement initiatives that ensure our continuous improvement culture. You’ll also serve on our internal audit team to help assess and ensure our continued compliance with our ISO 9001:2015 certification.

  • Proficiency with monitoring and measurement tools (I.e., calipers, tape measurer, etc.);

  • Technical writing (i.e., procedures, work instructions, etc.);
  • Data gathering, analysis and reporting;

Requirements

  • Associates Degree from a two-year college 2-3 Years of experience in Quality Control.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485:2016 is a plus.
  • Experience managing measuring & tool equipment (MT&E) & gage calibration systems.
  • Experience creating & and reviewing technical documents (procedures, inspection reports, etc.).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams in continuous improvement activities.
  • Document control experience.
  • Knowledge of problem solving methods (i.e. 5WHY, Ishikawa cause & effect analysis, 8D).
  • Data collecting and analysis.
  • Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus).
  • Experience using QMS software to generate nonconforming reports/records.
