Your Impact:

  • Drive process enhancements and operational optimization to elevate plant chemical operations.
  • Spearhead initiatives to realize cost savings and contribute to safety and environmental enhancements.
  • Monitor production metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded, providing strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Forecast material balances and assist with cost management to optimize financial performance.
  • Lead root cause analysis and participate actively in the work management process to mitigate issues efficiently.
  • Champion capital improvement projects, from identification through to implementation, ensuring investments enhance operational sustainability.
  • Oversee contract operations, optimizing spending for maximum cost-effectiveness.
  • Engage with teams during monthly crew meetings to bolster safety and environmental practices.
  • Facilitate employee training sessions to disseminate updates on operational procedures and equipment introductions.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, complemented by at least 4 years of experience in process or production engineering within a large-scale, continuous chemical plant setting.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) is essential.
  • A deep understanding of chemical unit operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the capability to guide the efforts of operators and maintenance teams.
  • Recognition as a leader and go-to resource within the plant environment.
  • Proven track record of monitoring and managing costs, including operating and turnaround expenses.
