Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat acutely ill newborns in the NICU
• Perform procedures such as intubation, umbilical catheterization, and chest tube insertion
• Monitor and interpret newborns' vital signs, laboratory results, and diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Provide education and support to parents and families of newborns in the NICU
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license with specialization in Neonatal Nursing
• Master's degree in Nursing
• Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of neonatal care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare
