Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MicroStrategy Developer to join our team at Apex Informatics. As a MicroStrategy Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using the MicroStrategy platform. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and visualizations
- Create and optimize MicroStrategy schema objects such as attributes, hierarchies, and metrics
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data analysis needs
- Perform data modeling and ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity
- Implement security and access controls for MicroStrategy applications
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in MicroStrategy reports and dashboards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and functionalities of the MicroStrategy platform
Requirements
Requirements:
- 10+ Years of Experience as a Data Analyst
- 8+ years of experience working with MicroStrategy
- Strong knowledge of MicroStrategy architecture and components
- Proficiency in creating complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations using MicroStrategy
- Experience with data modeling and ETL processes
- 8+ years of Strong SQL skills
- 2+ Years in Tableau & Python
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling
- Retail & Snowflake Experience is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
