The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Meck Pre-K Lead Teacher for our NC 4-Star school in Huntersville. We are hiring immediately and would love to meet you!

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Utilize the NC Meck Pre-K curriculum to prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond.
• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
• Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
• Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate.

Requirements

• B/K certification -OR- minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field with a 2.7 GPA and enrolled at an approved Educator Preparation Program (EPP) B-K Licensure program.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
