MDS Nurse

Description

Brunswick Cove Living Center, LLC is seeking dedicated and compassionate MDS Nurses to join our team. As an MDS Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct nursing care and support to our residents. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the overall well-being and comfort of our residents.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Know and understand rules and regulations regarding MDS compliance
• Complete all assessments and transmit per the outlined timeframe
• Continue education to address changing new regulations as needed
• Utilize and outline appropriate care plans per Resident needs
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
• Educate Residents and their families about healthcare procedures and self-care
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues

Requirements

• Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in the state of employment
• Experience in long-term care or a similar setting is preferred
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
• 12 Hour Shifts

Requirements

A valid NC or Compact State Nursing license is required. MDS experience is preferred. This is a Full time permanent position on site.
