Manufacturing Product Preparation Engineer

We'd love for you to join our team! We are actively seeking candidates for a Manufacturing Product Preparation Engineer role.

The Manufacturing Product Preparation Engineer is responsible for the transition of products from product development into full production readiness including:

- Securing that Product Development / Technology teams deliver a product that is verified and aligned with Production System and Future Factory Concept

- Establishing clear and commonly shared product requirements for one dedicated area of responsibility

- Effectively coordinating and triggering activities of Manufacturing Solution Engineers within production

- Securing that product changes are introduced in the industrial system without disturbance, according to set targets

- Responsible for creating requirements and specifications for production test tools, either directly with development teams or by collaborating with product test engineers

- May develop and define product support plan.

On a Professional level applies practical knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience. This position typically requires 2 to 5 years relevant experience.

Additionally, may require the following proficiency:

- Works independently with general supervision.

- Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.

- May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree as Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer
• Automotive experience preferred
