Leasing Consultant

Village Gate Apartments is a apartment community located in the heart of Fayetteville, NC. If you are energetic, detail oriented, and customer service focused, we would like to speak with you about joining our team! This is a full-time position with some weekend hours required.

Requirements

• To be considered for this position you must submit your resume. All resumes must be submitted through the online job listing.
• Welcome and tour prospects, qualify, determine wants and needs, professionally present community and specific apartments while providing features and benefits.
• Proactively manage leads, document tours and complete all leasing paperwork.
• Ensure the entire tour route is in perfect condition.
• Walk rent ready apartment homes and check on the status of the vacant units to ensure there is a suitable number of rent ready units.
• Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends. Contribute ideas to the Manager for marketing property and for improving resident satisfaction.
• Answer incoming phone calls and handle accordingly whether it is a prospect call or a resident call.
• Administrative duties to ensure leasing office is properly operating.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent certification required.
• Previous customer service experience, leasing and/or sales experience preferred, however not required.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to quickly develop rapport with prospective residents
• Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting.
