Facility Maintenance (handyman)

What You'll Do:

Are you a jack of all trades? Are you incredibly detail oriented? Do you like working on your own? Do people always ask you for your help bc they know it will be done right the first time? THE WE NEED YOU to help keep our building running and looking great at all times!

How You'll Do It (Key Responsibilities):

• Demonstrate Blackstone’s Core Values: Guest-Centric; Knowledge without Condescension; Passionate & Enthusiastic; Win/Win; and Ambitious
• Perform preventive building maintenance and repairs
• Keep all Lanes operational at all times
• Keep the bay walls and floors patched weekly and painted monthly
• Keep all lights working 100% of the time
• Keep all inspections up to date (backflow,fire, extinguisher, alarm etc)
• Serve as point of contact for contractors
• Daily Cleaning tasks
• Manage brass/lead recycling and coordinate the disposal of filters
• Filter changes for HVAC are scheduled as needed
• Facility enhancement projects
• Perform routine plumbing and electrical repairs
• Follow all OSHA guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What We Are Looking For (Key Qualifications):

• Naturally friendly and positive attitude
• Detail Oriented
• You know what you are doing bc you have done it before!
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong decision-making skills
• 3+ years of facility maintenance experience (or similar)

Preferences:

• Fork lift or electric pallet jack certified
• Strong network of maintenance specialists
• Certified Electrician
• Certified Plumber
• Certified HVAC

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 70 lbs., freely access all areas of the store, and stand for long periods of time.
