Director of Medical/Surgical Nursing

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursing Director of Medical/Surgical in Henderson, NC.

As the Nursing Director, you will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Medical/Surgical department. You will oversee the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct the daily operations of the Medical/Surgical department.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote interdisciplinary care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Participate in budget planning and resource allocation.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in the state of employment or valid Compact License.
• Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical/surgical nursing practices and procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
