Full Job Description
Our Dental office is looking for a full-time Dental Patient Coordinator to join their team. As a Dental Patient Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office by managing patient schedules, handling administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage patient schedules and ensure the dental office stays on schedule
- Greet and check-in patients, collect necessary information, and update patient records
- Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Collect payments and provide financial and insurance information to patients
- Maintain office supplies and order new supplies when needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle time-sensitive tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit ethical conduct
