The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Childcare Assistant Director for its NC 4-star preschool in Huntersville. No nights or weekends, and a consistent work schedule. We are hiring immediately and would love to meet you. We are also offering a $750 hiring bonus!*

Pay range: $20-$22 per hour, based on experience, education, and credentials.

Daycare Assistant Director Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of our childcare center and ensure that local, state, and federal childcare requirements are met.
• Oversee the implementation of our curriculum, including developmentally appropriate play and classroom environments.
• Provide informative tours to families looking into suitable childcare options.
• Perform administrative duties, enrollment, and tours; maintain staff and child files, state licensing maintenance, and regulation/policy compliance.
• Assist in the classroom as needed.

Requirements

• EDU119 or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in licensed childcare management required

*$750 sign-on bonus will be dispensed as follows: $375 upon starting, remaining $375 after 90 days.
