We are looking for a CAD engineer with experience in both Catia V5 and Creo!
The ideal candidate will develop and design engineering documentation, such as drawings, 3D models and CAD modules/assemblies. They will help mature the product in the CAD system.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Redesign existing models (e.g., redesign of small areas etc.). Product and procedures are given; however, the work requires experience and the capacity to perform analysis and draw conclusions.
- Design components in CAD.
- Create assemblies of CAD models, and detect, report, and resolve packaging conflicts.
- Secure quality and readiness before release.
- Define how to use the drawing as the basis for verifying the product geometrical properties.
- Produce technical drawings that are sufficient to define a product.
Requirements
- Position requires 5 years relevant experience
- Degree in engineering or relevant field
- Supporting junior team members and peers
- Role model of lifelong learning, sharing knowledge and developing others as a trainer and/or coach
- May be digging deeper in own discipline, but is building broader Tshaped profile
- Developing influence and working confidently within the wider Volvo Group network
- Clear articulation of how he/she is creating value within their part for the TD/BA.
