Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Sales Manager to join our team. This is not a desk job. As a Assistant Sales Manager you will be out in the field, actively running leads, training new sales representatives, and shadowing and uptraining your team. If you have a proven track record in sales management, a passion for home improvement, and excellent leadership skills, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Actively participate in the field by running leads and demonstrating effective sales techniques.
- Train and onboard new sales representatives, providing hands-on support and guidance.
- Shadow and uptrain existing sales representatives to ensure continuous improvement and development.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for sales growth and market expansion.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to optimize sales efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Assistant Sales Manager or similar leadership role in the home improvement industry.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
