Full Job Description

Secmation is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant who has previously worked with a small team and supporting Human Resources and Recruiting. This individual will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks and will primarily support the Business Operations and Human Resources Manager while also providing support to other members of the executive management team. This person is a self-started and can work independently with little oversight. A successful candidate in this position has the opportunity to advance into more senior-level positions as the company continues to grow.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • This role is responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks and will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency, with support expectations as follows:
    • ~80% support to Business Operations and Human Resources with an emphasis in recruiting support
    • ~20% support to other leadership members and staff
  • Support the local leadership team by coordinating events, meetings, appointments and travel arrangements, drafting and editing correspondence and other company marketing materials
  • Provide reliable and efficient screening and routing of internal and external communications and inquiries (i.e., visitors, calls, mail, and deliveries).
  • Maintain office equipment, supplies and inventory
  • Perform various HR support functions such as recruiting, open enrolment, documentation, policies and procedures and other HR related activities.

Requirements

Required Skills and Knowledge:

·         U.S. citizenship required. You must be a US Citizen to be considered for this position

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years’ previous experience in an Administrative Assistant position or similar
  • Previous experience supporting Human Resources and Recruiting
  • Be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Have a positive attitude and dedicated work approach, self-motivated, trustworthy maintaining confidential and sensitive information
  • Be able to handle day to day activities independently
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to build and maintain productive relationships and maintain open and effective communication
  • Easily work in a dynamic environment, being able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Confident and capable of learning new technologies

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds

Work Location and Position Type:

This is available as part-time, working a minimum of 20 hours per week, or full-time hybrid work-from-home position located in Cary, NC. Workdays are Monday through Friday with flexible work hours (workdays and hours may vary based on project needs).
