This company is opening an Endoscopy Technician Training Center in Fort Mill, SC. Tapping into their Expert Experience in the Endoscopy Repair Space, there is a real need in the industry for training on Endoscopy Scopes and Processors. Ideal candidates have had some exposure to endoscopy scopes whether it's in the manufacturing space or maybe within a healthcare system. Other backgrounds that line up with this type of training would be jewelry repair technicians and other electrical repair technicians working with very small parts.
Opportunity Summary:
- Position reports under the direction of the Lead Repair Trainer
- Upon successful completion of the Training Program, Technicians will be open for employment in this space which is in very high demand.
- High probability a position will be offered in Charlotte.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Perform testing, service, and repair of surgical devices (Endoscopes) to the original specifications, appearance and use.
- Accurately examine, test, and troubleshoot Endoscopies for defects and other issues.
- Determine the best course of service or repair to renew and get said device/instrument back to working order.
- Work with equipment and small machinery such as microscopes, grinders, sanders, soldering irons, and sharpens/polishers.
- Repair castings, flex tubing, circuitry, electronics, camera lens, and various machined parts.
- Performs installations, regular maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on assigned flexible endoscopes to ensure proper operation and function.
- Performs all assignments in a competent and timely way according to current policies and procedures.
Requirements
Key Success Factors:
- Knowledge and experience with all Flexible endoscope manufacturers in a major plus! (Olympus, Pentax, Fuji)
- 0+ years’ experience in Flexible or Inflexible Endoscope repair industry required. Exposure to Endoscopy Scopes is a plus.
- International Certification Commission certificate preferred.
