Youth Sports & Karate Instructor

Join Amazing Athletes as a Youth Sports & Karate Instructor and make a significant impact on the lives of children through sports and martial arts! We are a leading multi-sport enrichment program dedicated to promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development among kids aged 1-12. In this role, you'll utilize your love for sports and karate to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons, helping children develop essential skills while having fun.

Hours needed to fill: Monday 2:30-4:00pm, Tuesdays 2:30-4:00pm and Thursdays, 2:30-4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fun and engaging sports and karate classes, emphasizing skill development, safety, and enjoyment.
• Encourage positive behavior and self-discipline among students, instilling core values such as respect, teamwork, and perseverance.
• Monitor and ensure the safety of all participants during classes and activities.
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment that enhances children's confidence and love for physical activity.
• Stay informed about program curriculum and policies to deliver consistent high-quality instruction.

Requirements

• Passion for working with children and fostering their growth through sports and karate.
• Experience in coaching, teaching, or instructing sports/karate to children preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect positively with children and their parents.
• Strong knowledge of sports rules, karate techniques, and safety protocols.
• Flexible availability, including weekdays, mornings and mid-late afternoons.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in education, physical education, or a related field is a plus.
• Pass a background check and have a personal-reliable means of transportatin to travel from site to site.

Benefits

• Starting hourly rate: $20.00/hr-$23.00/hr.
• Reimbursement of CPR/First Aid Training.
