The Warehouse Account Manager plays a vital role in overseeing customer accounts, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining strong client relationships. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and providing exceptional customer service to meet client needs. The ideal candidate has experience with logistics platforms, excels in communication, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Manage and track orders using ShipStation and Shopify, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Oversee the processing of shipments, returns, and exchanges to maintain seamless operations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Monitor and resolve customer complaints, providing timely updates and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Generate and analyze reports related to account performance, inventory levels, and order metrics.
- Maintain accurate account records, including customer preferences, order history, and special requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams (sales, billing, and logistics) to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Stay informed about company policies, product updates, and industry best practices to provide expert account management.
Requirements
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- Proven experience in account management, customer service, or warehouse operations is required.
- Hands-on experience with ShipStation and Shopify is a must.
Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics platforms, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to client and operational challenges.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively.
Environment & Schedule
- Work Environment: Warehouse-based role with an office component; must be comfortable working in a physical warehouse environment.
