Gadge USA was established in 1993. Our company is a national packaging supply and supply-chain solutions company with an expansive distribution network. We manage packaging portfolios across multiple categories, combined with a scalable service model which delivers packaging solutions and continuous improvement to our customers.
We are currently recruiting a VP of Operations, reporting to our President & CEO. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence to drive profitable growth, and providing direct management of Account Management, Planning & Purchasing, Freight and Warehouse, and Vendor Management. You will join the President & CEO, CFO, VP Organization Development & HR and the VP of Sales & Marketing as a member of the Corporate Executive Team.

What You Will Do:
- Directs and supervises the day-to-day activities of the Company including, but not limited to; ensuring that all service levels, vendor/product costs and quality of products provided to customers are in accordance with set requirements; with the objective of maximizing profitability and growth for the Company.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to achieve the Company’s short- and long-term business objectives and deliver the highest quality and service to our customers.
- Exceed customer expectations through product quality and premiere service while managing operating costs and fostering an environment that promotes teamwork and clear paths of communication and accountability.
- Provide forward-thinking leadership for the operations departments to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
- Understand the Company financial drivers and develop strategies and business decisions that increase profits and align with long term strategic Company goals.
- Launch/lead strategic projects that will promote ways to identify and create savings opportunities to ensure all programs are generating a positive return on investment (ROI).
- Develop programs and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to increase the effectiveness of company resources and improve business processes.
- Own the vendor management function with the vendors, suppliers, and represent the company to negotiate contractual terms in the best interest of the company and our customers.
- Promote a message of accountability throughout the organization while positively influencing the overall financial results of the Company.
- Establish systems or processes to monitor customer satisfaction and leverage insights to drive improvements in processes and development of our team members.
- Design, implement and maintain a vendor scorecard program to ensure that our suppliers are meeting the highest standards.
- Effectively synthesize strategies into cohesive tactical plans and follow through on execution and change management with teams and the company.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to leaders to effectively develop and manage their teams.
- Collaborate with other Corporate Executive Team members to create and promote initiatives that support the overall Company strategy and culture.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- 15+ years of relevant operations experience, with at least 10+ years in leadership roles, with demonstrated success growing and building high performing teams.
- Proven record of achievement as an operations executive in a supply chain, packaging, manufacturing, or distribution solutions company at significant scale.
- Managed P&L responsibility of > $100mm of revenue, negotiating and establishing pricing strategies, improving overall operating margins by driving down costs throughout the organization.
- Results and success-oriented leader and team builder with the ability to set and execute growth strategies, plans, and programs.
- Demonstrated executive leadership presence to engage customers and vendors; and the ability to deliver corporate presentations and tactfully navigate negotiations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and communicate with staff at all levels effectively within and outside the organization.
- High degree of strategic thinking and problem-solving skills and demonstrated success with developing innovative and creative approaches or new ideas.
- Strong collaborator with all stakeholders and ability to influence and drive consensus, and mutual alignment.
- Ability to see the “big picture,” and identify critical factors and directions in the formulation for strategic and tactical plans.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment and support organizational change management.
- Bachelor's degree is required. MBA or Master’s degree in business-related program is strongly preferred.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working with suppliers overseas.
- Past member of a company’s executive leadership team or reporting to the President / CEO role.
- Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, and other relevant certifications.
- Experience with Salesforce or other customer relationship management tools (CRMs).

This role will be based in our office located at 3000 Marcus Avenue, Suite 3E03, Lake Success, NY 11042.
The salary range for this role is $200,000 - $230,000 commensurate with the candidate's experience.
