Visual Designer / UX (Financial Services)

• Develop a deep understanding of our product and user base and be part of the team that defines the product functionality and features.
• Work as part of highly experienced design, product, engineering and business teams to build out best in class user experience that will become the foundation of a high growth client facing product.
• Ability to take a concept and create compelling visual end-to-end experience, whilst considering the needs varying personas
• Design complex interfaces, from wireframing workflows to hi-fi prototypes to final production-ready hi fi designs
• Translate complex data requirements into beautiful data viz and metrics
• Manage our design library, ensure we are adhering to the design language and visual identity
• Creation and ongoing maintenance of developer specs
• Perform UI testing / visual QA and work closely with developers to preserve our designs
• You are efficient, detail obsessed, and take pride in the quality of your work
• You are used to working in a fast-paced environment; you are adaptive and can change gears and pivot directions quickly when required
• Excellent at Figma, asset and component creation including variants and other areas

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• At least 4+ years of professional experience in Visual design or related areas
• Figma, Sketch, Adobe, other design tools
• Experience in designing complex applications or enterprise applications
• Experience working in Agile or sprint-based environment
• Great presentation and communication skills
• Good time management and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or investment banking
• Experience in front end development
• Experience in other areas of UX
