ITE Management, a leading investment manager and private equity firm specializing in the acquisition of transportation equipment and asset operating platforms in the infrastructure sector, is seeking a Vice President of Treasury Operations to join its dynamic and successful team in New York. Founded in 2014, ITE targets real asset investment opportunities that are cash yielding with downside protection, and benefit from a team with deep, longstanding relationships and financial and operating expertise.  Today, the firm manages over $9bn of assets globally across rail, intermodal, aviation, and emerging technology strategies with office locations in NYC, Chicago and St. Louis.

The Vice President of Treasury Operations will lead the treasury function for our infrastructure investment management strategies, our managed funds and fund entities.  The VP will manage a variety of financing arrangements including bank loans and securitization facilities. This role reports directly to the Director of Finance and plays a pivotal role in optimizing liquidity management, maintaining strong banking relationships, and ensuring compliance with lender reporting and supporting broader firm growth plans.

  • Treasury Management: Oversee the company's treasury operations, ensuring optimal liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and effective deployment of capital.
  • Funding Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive funding strategies utilizing bank loans, securitizations, and other financing instruments to support the acquisition and development of infrastructure assets.
  • SPV Management: Manage the treasury operations of SPVs and other fund entities, optimizing their use for financing and operational efficiency.
  • Liquidity Management:  Oversee daily cash management activities, including cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and short-term investing.  Manage relationships with banking partners and assist in managing and negotiating credit facilities, including syndicated loans and asset-backed securitizations
  • Bank & Funding Reporting: Monitor and optimize the company's capital structure and financing costs.  Ensure compliance with debt covenants and regulatory requirements related to treasury operations.
  • Investor Relations: Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to provide transparency and updates on treasury operations, and funding strategies to stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for treasury operations, including cash management, funding activities, and risk exposures.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the treasury operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, rating agencies, and auditors, to ensure the successful execution of the firm’s financial strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in treasury operations, with a focus on managing complex financing structures in a corporate environment, preferably within the transportation or leasing industry.
  • Proven experience with bank loans, securitizations, and other structured finance transactions.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, banking products, and treasury management systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing a team.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and present to senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

 Salary Range:

  • Estimated base salary range for this position is: $140,000-$170,000. Employees may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
