Summary:

We are building inclusive, human-centred products and are looking for a talented and passionate UX Writer to become part our remote team and our mission to elevate the human experience of sexuality and relationships.
As a UX Writer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience on Feeld. You will collaborate closely with the design, product, and engineering teams to create intuitive, engaging, and user-centered copy and content that informs guides and our members throughout their journey.
What you will do:
- Craft compelling and user-friendly copy, tooltips, labels, and other interface elements that provide clear guidance and instructions within the app and website.
- Join with product managers and engineers to contribute to product strategy discussions, ensuring that content considerations are incorporated into the development process from the early stages.
- Collaborate with product designers and user researchers to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors, and leverage that knowledge to create cohesive and consistent messaging across the app.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Feeld's brand voice, tone, and style guidelines, ensuring that all copy and content aligns with our values and resonates with our audience.
- Continuously iterate and improve copy and content based on user feedback, usability testing, and data insights to enhance the overall user experience.
- Work with the Content team to ensure consistency in tone and messaging across all touch points, including in-app copy, push notifications, email communications, and marketing materials.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of content style guides, design systems, and other resources to ensure consistency and scalability in content creation.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in UX writing and apply them to enhance Feeld's user experience.
Requirements
About you:
- Proven experience as a UX Writer, Content Designer, or similar role, ideally within a mobile app or digital product environment.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio that showcases your ability to write concise, user-centric copy that drives engagement and enhances the user experience.
- Familiarity with user-centered design principles and methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, researchers, and engineers.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate your rationale and advocate for your content decisions effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all content is error-free, consistent, and aligns with brand guidelines.
- A passion for user experience, design, and technology, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the dating app industry.
- A collaborative mindset, open to feedback, and a desire to work in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Deep interest in and curiosity about the evolution and future of sexuality, identity and relationships.

That is why we offer:

- At Feeld we believe all humans deserve to make a competitive wage. That's why we offer a Baseline Freedom Salary of £60,000 GBP per year.
- The base salary for this role is determined by Level and Step, as well as geographic location, but we estimate that this role can earn between £70,000 - £105,000 GBP based on the requirements listed in this job description.
Our interview process:
- Your first conversation with Feeld will be a screening call with our recruiter, where you’ll be able to ask - and receive answers - regarding any general questions you have and to confirm the role is a fit for what you’re seeking.
- Your second conversation will connect you directly with the hiring manager for the role you’re applying to. Here, you’ll have a chance to ask more questions about the work you’ll be doing. This conversation will also focus on your past work experiences.
- The next step for most of our roles is a candidate challenge. This is an evaluation of the skills relevant to be successful in this role and generally takes about an hour to complete.
- Your third conversation allows you the opportunity to meet the team members you might be working with on a daily basis. Here, you’ll be able to ask questions about team processes, workflow, and the employee experience at Feeld.
- Your fourth call for this role will be with the lead of our Product Team. In this call you will be able to ask any final questions you may have.
- We generally make an offer within 2 weeks of our final call, and offer a flexible start date that can begin as early as the next Monday after you sign our offer documentation.
- Of note: all of our interviews are conducted remotely, and our interviewers will work with you to find an agreeable interview time based on mutual availability.
