Join a leading NYC-based children's apparel wholesaler as an Associate to Senior Technical Designer. Be pivotal in crafting the quality and fit across a diverse range of children’s wear including sportswear and swimwear. Your role will bridge design and production, ensuring every garment meets our exacting standards for fit, construction, and safety.
What You'll Do:
- Establish fit and construction standards alongside Design and Production teams.
- Craft detailed spec packages for each garment style.
- Lead fit sessions and communicate technical adjustments to vendors.
- Ensure compliance with children’s safety regulations.
Requirements
What We Need:
- At least 2 years in a similar role, with childrenswear experience preferred.
- Expertise in knit and woven garment construction and patternmaking.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ideally Illustrator.
- Ability to work on-site in our NYC office full-time.
