ABOUT THE ROLE
The Table Service Manager oversees the guest experience for table service, from providing the ultimate VIP experience during the event to any necessary pre/post-event follow-up. Serves as table service operation manager of scheduling, overseeing staff during ROS, disciplinary action, and all other management-related duties.
ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports to the Senior Director of Food & Beverage and the Director of Premium Sales
- Ensures any particular client needs and requirements are appropriately addressed
- Oversees all hospitality elements during ROS, ensuring all table service staff follow proper steps of service
- First point of contact for resolving table service staff issues
- Responsible for coaching table service staff on proper service steps and ways to improve salesmanship for the value of increasing sales and building relationships for return guests
- Ensures correct and accurate cash handling and credit policies
- End of event reporting, cash handling, and preparation of gratuity split
- Responsible for DOH compliance
- Collaborate with management and senior leadership on ideas to improve Table Service sales, VIP guest experience and programs, and service standards.
- Responsible for providing staff with appropriate training and education to ensure they have the proper knowledge of our products and skills to provide exceptional service
- Contact for issues related to table service, including guest service concerns, charge disputes, reservation process, staffing issues, etc
- Collaborate on ideas for improving the client experience for all AG venues, including festival and pop-up operations.
- Menu maintenance and entering items into Toast alongside the Senior F&B Manager and Operations Manager.
- Beverage inventory and entering COGS into Billfold post-event
- Responsible for inventory of high-end beverage items and communicating ordering needs to the Food & Beverage Manager
- Table service supplies inventory and ordering
- Works with operations managers and facilities for table service door setup
- Assisting with server uniforms – changes every event
- Cross-train with F&B Managers to provide coverage of bar and barback staff as needed
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writes schedule for both events and labor shifts during the week to prep for the weekend
- Review and approve staff timesheets for payroll compilation and submit them to Accounting on a timely basis; write the schedule.
- Assists with preparing employee schedules according to business forecasts, payroll budget guidelines, and productivity requirements when needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of table Service management experience
- Required proficiency in the Google Workspace suite, and its applications such asDocs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Drive- including Shared Drives, and Google Groups for seamless team communication. Basic training is provided to ensure effective utilization of these tools for collaboration, communication, and document management.
COMPENSATION
- The hourly rate for this position is $30-35
