Our Company: BCI Brands designs, sources, and markets nationally and internationally an extensive range of women's career, casual sportswear, and dresses. Our products are sold through all primary retail distribution levels principally under various trademarks and under private label brand names.
Reporting to: Director of Technology Planning
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our company's IT infrastructure. This role involves overseeing server operations, network management, and ensuring the overall health and security of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain servers, both physical and virtual, including backups, patching, and performance tuning.
- Administer and support the organization's network infrastructure (LAN/WAN), firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Ensure system security through the implementation of security policies, monitoring, and management of security tools.
- Perform regular system audits and create comprehensive reports on system performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures.
- Implement and manage cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Entra, etc.) as needed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Plan and participate on creating and upgrading MDF/IDF rooms.
- Monitor and optimize network connectivity.
- Installing Server Hardware and Software.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems are current and efficient.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Strong experience with server virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Proficiency with network hardware and protocols.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Entra).
- Solid understanding of system security principles and best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Prior experience using Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Windows Server 2008-2022.
· Strong understanding of Active Directory, vSphere, SharePoint, PowerShell, SCCM, LDAP, Project Management, MDM.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, etc.) are a plus.
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
The salary range for this full-time, exempt role is between $80-100k dependent upon experience level.
