Full Job Description

Supply Chain Management Consulting, LLC is a leading consulting firm in the Aviation & Aerospace industry, specializing in supply chain optimization. We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Clerk to join our team. As a Stockroom Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely availability of materials and supplies.


Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies
  • Verify and record received items in the inventory system
  • Label and store items in a designated storage area
  • Retrieve and distribute materials and supplies to appropriate departments
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Assist in the implementation of inventory control and management processes
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to stockroom activities
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized stockroom
  • Assist in the organization and optimization of stockroom layout

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in stockroom or inventory control
  • Basic understanding of inventory control principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and systems
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures
  • Experience with cycle counting and reconciliation
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
