Requirements

The Role:
As our Sourcing Assistant, you will work closely with the Sourcing Manager, Sales Team, overseas suppliers, and stakeholders, coordinating the sourcing process from start to finish. You will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of our product lineup by leveraging international markets and suppliers. This position requires a blend of skills and attributes tailored to meet the demands of global sourcing:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed tracking to ensure timely follow-ups on key tasks and dates.
  • Communicate with our Asian sourcing team and vendors to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Conduct sampling prior to delivery and quality checks on received goods to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Consolidate shipments based on the analysis of open orders and the sell-through rate of each product.
  • Organize and file procurement documents such as contracts and purchase orders for audit purposes and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of working experience, preferably in retail buying, merchandising, or purchasing and procurement-related fields.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English and at least conversational in Mandarin to ensure seamless communication with our suppliers.
  • Willing to learn, improve, and grow.

Benefits

Salary Range:
$55,000 - $65,000 per year
