SPCSHP is looking for a Social Copywriter / Creator who will be responsible for developing relevant, memorable and highly creative social-first concepts for clients through language and ideas that support strategy, design, and brand expression. The ideal candidate will be confident in presenting their ideas to clients and demonstrating the strategic underpinnings of the work.
In this role, you will be partnered with a Senior Designer to concept and create social content (from static and animated posts to Reels) across all social platforms.
Role + Responsibilities:
- Come up with ideas. All. Day. Long.
- Work and collaborate with creative teams to build out social content (from static and animated posts to Reels) across all social platforms
- Work directly with a Designer partner and be willing to collaborate fiercely with every other discipline in the shop
- Brainstorm with insight and empathy to help solve problems in awesome, sometimes hilarious, compelling ways
- Participate in the creation of pre-production materials, inclusive of storyboard/moodboards and/or shotlists, where necessary
- Live and breathe (micro)content and consumer-brand interaction

- Self-starter with great time management skills - This role will require the individual to be working on multiple workstreams/projects simultaneously with each project in different phases of social content production (I.e., Prep/Creative Development, pre-production, shooting, editing, finishing)
- Set-up/shoot visual content across multiple platforms.
- Knowledgeable of best practices regarding how to develop social content across various platforms
- Curate content by promoting videos/stories/memes that are about to become part of the conversation in a big way
- Maintain awareness of the Recently Possible and look for opportunities to innovate and develop new ways to bring big brand ideas to life
Skills + Experience:
- 4+ years of copywriting experience - preferably across different agency backgrounds
- Experience with a Beauty/Luxury brand is a MUST
- Content creation experience a MUST with comfort being on-camera
- Familiarity with preferred hardware for social shoots (i.e. ring lights, backdrops/seamless where necessary, tripods…etc)
- Portfolio of work demonstrating copy capabilities in both digital and social mediums
- Deep understanding of all major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc) as well as smaller and emerging platforms
- Self-starter with great time management skills, ability to work on multiple workstreams/projects simultaneously with each project in different phases of social content production (I.e., prep/creative Development, pre-production, shooting, editing, finishing)
- Ability to be a social ambassador for select brands and requires the individual’s online conduct to align with our client’s high standards
- A passion for digital culture and inventing solutions to tomorrow's challenges today
- Exceptional writing and presentation abilities
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines
- Familiarity with AP style
The salary band for this role is $80,000 - $95,000. Where a prospective new hire's base salary will fall within this band depends on several factors including their qualifications and experience, the skill level required in the role, market rates, and the salaries of existing crew members at SPCSHP within the same role to maintain equity.
