Skilled Mechanical Assembler - $17/hr

Parallel Employment Group in partnership with a Buffalo manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and mechanical Hydraulic Assembler to join their growing team. Will use hand, air, power tools to assemble a variety of small engines and equipment. Must be able to read a tape measure and read blueprints.

Shift: 32 hours to start; Monday - Thursday; 7 am - 3:30 pm (adding in Fridays in the future for 40 hours; full-time)

Wage: $17-18/hr

Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         ASSEMBLE, TEST AND PACKAGE VARIOUS HYDRAULIC ASSEMBLIES.

·         ASSEMBLE AND MANAGE STOCKING LEVELS FOR MULTIPLE SUB ASSEMBLIES

·         CROSS TRAIN IN MULTIPLE DEPARTMENTS

·         INVENTORY CYCLE COUNTS AND ORGANIZATION

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         STRONG HANDS-ON SKILLS/MECHANICAL APTITUDE

·         FAMILIAR WITH HYDRAULIC CONCEPTS, HOSE ASSEMBLY AND MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY PRINCIPALS

·         FAMILIAR WITH BASIC LOW VOLTAGE WIRING CONCEPTS

·         LIFT UP TO 50 LBS

·         BASIC MATH AND REASONING SKILLS

·         DETAIL ORIENTED

·         ABILITY TO WORK WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION

·         ABILITY TO MULTITASK

·         SELF STARTER

·         ABILITY TO READ BLUEPRINTS AND SCHEMATICS
