We’re actively contributing to marginfi, the leading lending protocol on Solana. marginfi is a liquidity and yield foundation reimagined from the ground up, leveraging next-generation risk systems that operate at the speed of Solana and a redesigned user experience democratizing passive income management.

Our team consists of experienced professionals with backgrounds in quantitative research, machine learning, MLOps, and DevOps.

Who We’re Looking for:

We are seeking a senior protocol engineer to be a core part of the team. Contribute to an evolving, open source codebase and help set the stage for more secure, usable, and comprehensive financial products on Solana.

We are looking for someone who is excited to join a team of high-velocity engineers, who believes in open source code, and who has conviction that globally accessible markets will change the world for the better.

Requirements

The Opportunity:

• Design, develop, and deploy robust smart contracts that manage billions of dollars of transactions
• Collaborate with quants to model complex risk exposure
• Implement and perform testing to ensure system stability
• Drive a focused engineering culture and set the stage for best practices in DeFi

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with systems level languages like Rust, C, C++
• Experience with smart contract development, distributed computing, and/or system design
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills - bonus if you’ve applied those to trading strategies in a professional capacity
• Belief in the benefits of open source contribution
• Passion for software development, DeFi, and cryptocurrencies
